Exceptional Tours specializes in designing unique and memorable travel experiences for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. What truly sets us apart is our dedication to personalized service, ensuring that every vacation and activity is thoughtfully tailored to the preferences and needs of each traveler.
To enhance the experience at every destination, most of our scheduled tours are small and intimate, limited to five or fewer travelers. We also specialize in creating exclusive one-on-one activities and customized vacations.
Our Travel Program is entirely private pay, though discounts are available for travelers who also receive waiver services through Exceptional Tours. If you or someone you support is interested in our travel services, please follow the registration process below:

Browse Available Trips: Review our available trips to find an activity or vacation that interests you.

Request Registration Forms: Email our Executive Assistant, Rebecca, at assistant@exceptionaltoursllc.com, and she will send the required registration forms through DocuSign.

Submit Registration: Once the completed forms are received, your traveler will be officially registered and added to the requested activity or trip list.

Receive and Pay Invoice: An invoice will be sent for payment, which is due by the date listed on the invoice.
Please note: Invoices for attended activities become past due two weeks after the activity date, and a reminder email will be sent.
Annual Overnight Form: The Overnight Registration Form only needs to be completed once each year unless there are changes to dietary or health needs that require updated documentation. Primary caregivers are responsible for communicating any changes before each activity attended
Prices listed are for Travelers Who

Can safely participate in a 1:4 Companion-to-Traveler ratio

Are cooperative with Companions and fellow Travelers

Can independently manage personal care needs, including toileting and feeding, and ambulate without assistance
An additional fee will apply for Travelers who require a higher level of supervision, including a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio. This may include support for individuals who need assistance with a wheelchair or walker, require full care for bathing or restroom use, or present an elopement risk.
Meet-up Locations for Exceptional Tours Activities
Exceptional Tours travelers meet at various designated locations across the Delaware Valley on the day of the activity or event:

Philadelphia (Philly): 100 City Ave. – City Apartments rear parking lot, near CVS

Delaware County (Delco): Springfield Mall – Target parking lot

Chester County (Chesco): Exton Mall – Library parking lot

Montgomery County (Montco): Plymouth Meeting Mall – Shake Shack parking lot
Please identify the location most convenient for your traveler. A reminder email with specific instructions will be sent out one week before the activity.
Transportation Options
Door-to-Door Pick-up (Limited Availability)

Door-to-door transportation is available for a $65 fee for the first three travelers registered for an activity.

Please note: This service is not available for vacations. Travelers are responsible for arranging their own airport drop-off and pick-up for vacation travel.
