Our Story

Exceptional Tours is Pennsylvania’s leading provider of human services, dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and their families across the Commonwealth. Guided by our mission, vision, and values, we are committed to creating opportunities that inspire connection, growth, and joy.
Founded in 2002 by Telisha Feamster, CEO and Owner, Exceptional Tours began as a heartfelt passion project that united her two greatest passions: supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and sharing the joy of travel. With more than 32 years of experience in human services, Telisha has transformed that passion into a trusted, person-centered organization known for delivering exceptional care and unforgettable experiences.
Today, Exceptional Tours proudly provides Home and Community-Based Services and Travel Support, accepting both private payments and funding through the Consolidated, Community Living, and PFDS waivers. Through every service we offer, we remain dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening the communities we serve.
